Robert Ebert...HAHA
So, through twitter I've learned Robert Ebert is completely awesome and doesn't give a "thumbs up" to everything. Here's his truly hilarious review of Sex and the City 2
ha! i was going to send that to you. there was a really good article about him in esquire or gq recently - he has a blog, too, that is interesting.
re: SATC2, i dunno. i saw the first one w/ my mother and sister and great-aunt and then we drank margaritas afterwards and i don't remember anything about the movie but i do remember a bunch of women (us) enjoying ourselves. so inasmuch as the movies create a space where women can celebrate their own friendships and (if that's their thing) enjoy getting decked out, i think they're pretty benign.
that was entertaining to read. now i'll have to pay more attention to him. he's good.
